Gary and his dad were both builders and real estate developers in the Woodlands. They both loved to fly and unfortunately their plane crashed over LaPorte, Tx about a month ago. I believe that his mom died shortly afterward after receiving the heart breaking news, thus a celebration for the "Boyd family" in the obituary.
