Jennie Johnson, age 62, of Houston, Texas died September 2, 2013. Jennie graduated from Texas Women's University and out of college enlisted as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army. Upon discharge, she had become a First Lieutenant, after which she spent the majority of her career as a social worker. Jennie is survived by her parents, L.C. and Marilyn Johnson. A memorial service will take place at 11:00am, Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 1656 Blalock Rd., 77080 followed by a 2:30pm inurnment at Houston National Cemetery.
