Deborah Kirk Scheffler, beloved wife, mother and friend passed away on September 12, 2023. She was born in Dallas, Texas on January 21, 1953.
Deborah loved collecting cookbooks and trying the recipes out on Mike. Her favorite place was Weesatche, Texas. She loved nature and hard work.
Deborah was truly an angel on earth. Her warm smile and fun laugh always brought a smile to others. Deborah never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Scheffler, her sister Donna (husband James) and brother Craig (wife Janie), sons, Nathan, Michael Jr. (wife Vanessa), and Dean (wife Rachel) and 6 grandchildren Lara, Lucas, Leonard, Tyler, Ashley and Andy.
She is preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and Roy Kirk.
Deborah will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Debbie was an absolute blessing to everyone she knew. She always thought of everyone else before herself, even in her last days. She had an infectious laugh and was so funny but didn't even know it or try to be. It was just who she was. We always had so much fun together and were always laughing about something.
Debbie was true to her faith and was a woman of grace. She also knew the true meaning of being a friend. There was no drama and there were no caveats. If she was your friend, you could always count on her. She was the best friend I ever had and I will miss her dearly.
