I remember Greg being a kind and gentle spirit. Always a bit ahead of the trend of the day. Although I spent quite a bit of time around him in highschool I didn't know him as well as I would have liked. I think he traveled in his own small circle. I would see Travis and Avey in the post SWHS days both in Houston and Austin but Greg was hard to track down. He was a great guy. I wish I could have hung with him later in  life. I'm sure he had many people who loved him and miss him greatly.

Peace Greg

I hope I see you in the next life

I first met Greg in 1st-2nd grade. Our familes each had 3 boys the same age & needless to say grew up in houses around the corner from each other until we left high school. As Jay M mentions, the Shrums we're ahead of the game early on. I can even accuse Gregg of turning me on to the Beatles when I was hung up on the Beach Boys . I lost touch even before we graduated but I'll always have fond memories of Greg & Travis; Im sure Avey had a difficult time seeing his brothers leave so early. God Bless the Shrums & all the "red roses" that left us before their time from SWHS
